So here are my admitted unfinishes in photos!!!! Can't get more evidence then that! And the funny thing is when I was unfolding them to take a picture of them, I have the backs and binding fabrics folded with them so all I ever needed to do is sit down and do it! How many times was I bored with nothing to do and these could have been my something???? So here it is folks......
17 Quilt tops!!!! WOWZERS!!!!! So that is my little hidden secrets.......do you have any? Anyone care to join me in my quest to finish up my unfinished projects? Or am I alone in this? If you do then I challenge you.....join me, but when yours is finished and posted on your blog, send me a note so I can see it!!!! Happy Friday everyone!
WOWZERS is right!! Look at all those beautiful projects! I admire you for just starting those beauties, not to mention finishing them.
ReplyDeleteGood for you in having this vision to accomplish what needs to be accomplished. All the best to you!
I have some projects on my to do list that I hope to accomplished by next Fall. It's a ways away, but they are Big projects.
One is to make our adorable and quite large shed into a guest cottage, which requires purging things so all that we have in storage will fit into our other shed. I have no problem purging, but my husband isn't there yet. :-)
The other project is to tear down an old milking barn on my parents property then using that old barn wood for paneling in one of our garages that I planning on making into a vintage looking home for my 56 Ford pick up that my father restored.
Big projects, but that is my goal for the next few months.
I'll keep you posted. :-)
Have a beautiful blessed day.
Joy!
Debbie
Oh what fun projects you have in store! They sound like they will be great when they are finished! A 56 ford pickup, your one lucky lady! Like the idea of repurposing the wood. That will be neat, hope there will be pictures involved! Those are big undertakings but little by little, my Mom always says....Rome wasn't built in a day! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI had a half a dozen and felt so out of control..most were small but this past weekend I got several out of the way! I still have a few to go....good luck on your 17!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on getting those projects finished! I was thinking about committing to one a month...if I get two done then WOOHOO! Don't know why I didnt finish them as I went along. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteSo funny! My " resolution" this year is to finish some of the tops that I have. I don't think that I have 17, but I know that there are 3 or 4 full size quilts, a few throw size and 4 or 5 smalls. I love to piece, don't mind binding but avoid quilting. I need to work on that and I know it. Thanks for sharing- I feel better and I hope you do too!
ReplyDeleteI do feel better getting it out there and making myself accountable! I hope you can get yours done too! Thanks for stopping by!
